Kushal Khare
Biomedical Health Sciences
Hi I’m Kushal, an incoming student at Cornell University. I'm passionate about structural biology and biophysics, particularly how studying proteins at the atomic level can inform our understanding of disease and guide therapeutic development. I’ve conducted research on drug transporters at the blood-brain barrier through the NIH and Gates Foundation's AVOID-OME project at the Stroud Lab at UCSF, led the cancer research team at XPRIZE Healthspan, and am an incoming researcher at the Fromme Lab at Cornell. I’m also a CSEF and ISEF finalist. Outside of research, I'm an aviation geek, a hiker, and currently on a 1,400-day Duolingo streak. I am so excited for all the discussions we’ll have and the memories we’ll make this summer!
